We know only too well that what we are doing is nothing more than a drop in the ocean. But if the drop were not there, the ocean would be missing something!

September 30th Celebration Day

What a joyous day to celebrate a beautiful daughter, sister, wife and mother's Birthday!
Happy Birthday Kathy!

One thing I have to credit Kathy for is influencing me in becoming the Packer fan I am today.
The Packer Flag that I proudly fly in Seahawk country was a gift from Kathy 20 years ago.
I have one of the original cheeseheads, also a gift from Kathy.
So, for this Birthday I decided to honor Kathy by making the
1st Packers kathy's bag.

Here is a BFP…..
The year was 1997 when Kathy drove 30 minutes north to Green Bay,
and then spent hours in line to buy a piece of history.
It was the year the Packers were undefeated and they were replacing the turf at Lambeau Field.
For charity they sold bricks of the Frozen Tundra.  And yes, Kathy sent me a brick of Lambeau Field.    This past year I handed my brick of Frozen Tundra over to my son Zachary.
One of the most dedicated Packer fan I know.

A week ago I had the privilege to join Kathy's children, Erin and Brian, along with my son Zachary and Chris, a friend of Brian's,
at Lambeau Field to watch the Packers/Seahawks battle it out.  What a beautiful day to enjoy and experience the unique tradition of football in small town America.
Kathy you have influenced us in many ways.  I thank you for being the
daughter, sister, wife and mother you were.
Today we celebrate YOU!
With a new Packers kathy's bag.

Happy Birthday Kathy!
And
GO PACK GO!

The One Time of Year I don't mind Blogging!

It's Fall!
My favorite time of year!
Truly I enjoy the 4 seasons but
there is somethings about fall that brings me
JOY!
I was born in the Fall
I got married in the Fall (9-11-81)
I became a mother for the first time in the
Fall and my
Big Sister celebrated her birthday in the Fall.
She was 59, way too early to stop celebrating birthdays.

Why Stop?
Happy Birthday Kathy

Dust off your kathy's bags,  string them on your shoulders
and join me today as we remember and celebrate
the fabulous person Kathy was.

I know it's not Throwback Thursday but I thought I would share a few pictures of some of Kathy's favorite people.

Hope you enjoyed the memories!
